The new BANGERS album "Simple Pleasures" packs intelligent lyrics and tight musicianship into a mid-tempo punk rock melee. The record is littered with subtle hooks, head-bobbing breakdowns, and endearingly gruff vocals. Couple those components with an amazingly warm sound it makes this full length incredibly authentic sounding. It's hard to put a finger on what one thing that makes you want to listen to "Small Pleasures" on repeat but I guess that is what makes it so darn perfect.
